WE DO FEET SEMINARS' INSTRUCTOR OUTLINE

The Leading Foot Zoning School Since 2001

Class 4 Outline

💡 CLASS 4 OVERVIEW: Area 4

Theme: “Drawing Your Path to Mastery”

Goal: Emphasize that all the drawing and practice done in this class will help build confidence and competence as a Foot Zone Therapist. Remind them to try to be accurate with their maps, as much as possible. Encourage students to pace themselves, take plenty of breaks, and remember that in Classes 6–8 will dive much deeper into the signals—so there’s no need to overwhelm them with anatomy and physiology at this stage.

CONTINUED EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES & CLASS SCHEDULES

🗓️ DAY 1: Connection, Foundations & Building

1. Welcome Students:

Welcome and invite them to share stories, experiences, and questions from their month of practicing Area 3. Celebrate those who met their goals, and kindly encourage and uplift those who didn’t. Build excitement for the day's learning.

2. Watch Landmark Video:

You’re welcome to use the Landmark Videos for Area 4 in Google Classroom. If you joined the class at the beginning of course (Class 1), you won’t need to sign in again—just open Area 4. You may also assign these videos for students to watch later as homework.

3. Begin Drawing Area 4:

Today your only priority is to draw Area 4. Pace yourself. Be sure to take lots of breaks. If the classroom energy gets too low, consider having them practice some hands-on techniques.

LUNCH BREAK

4. Finish Drawing Area 4

8. End-of-Day Homework:

There is no homework in Class 4 other than hitting their goal of 20+ zones prior to Class 5. Please remind students to complete The Nervous System Anatomy Homework prior to Class 5 (assigned in Class 3).

🗓️ DAY 2: Application, Integration & Intentional Practice

1. Hands-On Demonstration and Instruction:

Instructor explains and demonstrates every movement and position of Area 4 slowly and clearly.

The Right Foot demonstration should be slow and intentional, allowing students to clearly observe each movement and understand the technique step by step. When you move on to the Left Foot, aim for a more fluid and natural flow, demonstrating how the signals and hand movements begin to work together in rhythm.

Re-demonstrate Areas 1, 2, and 3 reviewing key landmarks and difficult signals. This may take up to 2 hours so it is absolutely okay to take breaks. Focus on accuracy, landmarks, and intention on each signal.

LUNCH BREAK

2. Practice Time:

Allow students time to practice zoning Areas 1-4. Instructor gives supportive feedback and guidance. Try not to over critique at this point.  Remember intention overrules technique and they may be overwhelmed with new signals. It is recommended that students have 2 hours each to practice and not feel rushed. If they finish early, that's perfectly okay.
